Biography & Career

Dr. Fawaz Ali Abdulla Abdulhamid is a communications and media leader with nearly three decades of experience in institutional communication, media strategy, crisis management, and public relations at both the national and international levels. He has held several senior leadership roles in government communication, work that earned recognition and specialised awards in the field.

Internationally, he served as Assistant Director of the Communications Directorate at the INTERPOL General Secretariat in Lyon, where he led a multinational team serving 196 member countries and organised the first Global Police Communications Conference in the organisation’s history.

He has completed dozens of executive and leadership programmes locally and internationally, including in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Jordan. These spanned leadership, strategic communication, crisis management, and media.

Education:

PhD in Electronic Media from Cairo University (2026), awarded with first-class honours. Master’s degree in Mass Communication from Victoria University, Australia, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from the United Arab Emirates University. He also holds a Government Communication Experts Diploma and a Golden Leadership Diploma from the United Kingdom.
