Under the visionary leadership of Abu Dhabi’s leadership and in accordance with the city’s economic goals of enhancing the UAE’s international standing by 2071, Abu Dhabi Customs has won 14 international awards.

Among the noteworthy accomplishments are four Gold Awards from the 2023 Stevie International Awards, where Abu Dhabi Customs took home the titles of Innovation of the Year in Consumer Services Industries for the Invisible Customs System, Employer of the Year in the Government Organizations category, and Human Resources Department for their creative digital HR transformation. Additionally, as a well-known leader, the authority was given a Silver Award for Human Resources Executive.

Abu Dhabi Customs also won three honors in the HRSE Future Workplace Awards of the Year 2023: Best Talent Development Strategy, Best HR Transformation and Change Management Strategy, and Best Innovative HR Initiative.

Six distinctions were also given out in the HR and learning and development categories at the Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards. Notably, the authority won second place for a government services project in the Customer Focus category of the Ideas UK Award 2023.
