The UAE Invests in Attracting Technological Talent

The United Arab Emirates intends to grant 100,000 golden visas to the best technological talent, primarily in the fields of artificial intelligence and software engineering. This is part of its effort to strengthen its position as the capital of technology investment. It is especially important given that the UAE has committed to becoming a global leader in artificial intelligence by the year 2031. The goals of the nation in this area cover five industries: cybersecurity, hospitality, health care, logistics and transportation, and resources and energy. In other words, the country will rely heavily on digital transformation, and citizens and residents will experience its revolutionary effects on all facets of their lives and employment, allowing them to take advantage of cutting-edge services that won’t be made available elsewhere in the world for some time.

The UAE Digital Economy Strategy seeks to increase the digital economy’s share of GDP to 19.4% over the course of ten years. Increased investment in software and artificial intelligence will hasten the fulfillment of these objectives by facilitating digital transformation across all industries.

As part of efforts to promote these trends, the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy recently held the tenth session of its regular workshops on the digital industry, with an emphasis this time on software development and the artificial intelligence business.

The UAE is concentrating its efforts on utilizing artificial intelligence to improve the quality of life, economic efficiency, and sustainability, even though it raises many questions and concerns about its potential impact on job opportunities, educational evaluation mechanisms, military applications, and other tricky issues. In addition to everything the UAE has to offer in terms of security and wellbeing, the golden visa will undoubtedly serve as an incentive for the top technology talent to relocate to the “capital of the future”.
